All life on earth is a journey through time and your time here is not by accident.
Time is given to everyone and everything by God.
Your time is chosen by God.
TIME – as we know it can be expressed in several ways. But today, I want you to look at time from a fresh perspective.
The Wisdom of Solomon in Ecclesiastes (3:1-2a), said it this way:
“There is a time for everything and a season for every activity under heaven” (that means here on earth), followed by 28 things there is a time for, and he starts by telling us that, “there is a time – to be born and a time – to die”.
Everything else that will happen to us and that we will experience will fall between those two keep events.
Time is just the interval between two key events in life…… your beginning (your birth…when you are born) and your ending (your death…. when you die).
These two key events in life are not your choice. No member of God’s divine/human family (human beings) gets to choose when their time in life will begin, nor do they get to choose when their time in life will end……that’s God’s choice.
No one gets to choose what sperm and egg would come together to form us. You do not get to pick who your father and mother are going to be. You do not get to pick the ethnicity, financial plight, the living conditions, or educational status of your parents.
You do not determine when you will be formed in or exit from your mother’s womb. That is a reality about human life that applies to every one of us. That is God’s choice. The Psalmist David in (Psalms 139: 13-16) NIV makes this point quite clear…..God knew us before we entered our mother’s womb.

REALITY #1:
Your Life Is a Result of a Purpose That Is in The Mind of God That Requires Your Presence Here on Earth.
Your life has nothing to do with what somebody (a father or mother) did or did not do. They were simply the vessels used by God to bring about your existence into humanity. The bible says to honor your father and mother……and if for no other reason but the fact that God chose them to get you here for His purpose.
The days for your human existence have already been predetermined by God. (Vs .16)
Since these two events are God’s choice, He gives you the freedom to choose everything you do in between those two events.
The interval between your beginning and your ending represents your journey through life. You can never out live your allotment of time…. but you can make choices that will cut short the time God has allotted for you.
Everybody’s journey in life will consists of numerous experiences and learning opportunities.
REALITY #2:
You Cannot Unlearn What You Have Learn and You Cannot Undo What You Have Experienced in Life.
Given our freedom of choice, everyone has made some good and bad decisions, right and wrong choices, experienced positive and negative moments, and encountered joyful as well as painful times.
Because we can choose……nobody is exempt from these experiences in life.
The question is….” What wisdom did you gain from what you have learned and from what you have experienced?”
The knowledge that God has an Eternal Love for You has many implications.
The fact that you are still here…. should be a testament to God because your allotment of time did not run out…. you were given an opportunity to start over again. You got to experience the gift of a new day or another birthday…another day since you were born.
But, if you woke up today and did not see God again in your journey, you certainly will not see Him tomorrow and you most likely did not see Him yesterday.
Until you learn that something as simple as a new day …….is just God…time and time again showing up in your journey…. God’s purpose for your life is not over yet. There is something else you were left here to do.
Ask God to show you His purpose for your life and have the faith to believe that He will not only show you, but He will lead you down the path to your purpose.
Faith is just the perspective that all things work together for good……but here is the catch…. the bible says….” for those who love GOD and are called according to HIS purpose”. (Roman 8:28)
Jesus said the greatest command of all is to love God with everything you have…with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength. Then He said, love your neighbor (that means knowing how to be a neighbor to other divine/human beings created by God just as He created you….) and your love for other must be equally as much as you love yourself.
REALITY #3:
You Cannot Love Yourself or Anyone Else Until You Understand the Eternal Love That GOD (Your Eternal Father) Has for You.
Are you grateful for the allotment of time God has given you?
If you wake up with an attitude of gratitude……you will begin to see each challenge in life as an opportunity to grow in your spiritual awareness of God. That is when you will begin to see God again in those intervals and stages of your journey between your beginning and your ending…your birth and your death.
